Tower Operations Lead

Summary: Ensures a fun and hospitable yet safe experience for all guests. Follows all operations and safety procedures for each attraction. Responsible to manage assigned venues while maintaining various administrative tasks.

Essential Functions:

  • Assists supervisors in the overall supervision of tower employees, including hiring, developing, performance reviews, corrective counseling, pre-shift meetings and scheduling of all staff.
  • Participates and assists in the creation of employee standards of performance guidelines.
  • Assists in developing training classes for new and existing employees. Conducts training sessions as needed.
  • Performs the functions of tower dispatchers and front-line positions as needed
  • Notifies tower supervisors of any defective equipment or potential safety hazards immediately.
  • Ensures excellent guest service at all times and promotes an atmosphere of fun and excitement. Assists guests with all inquiries, complaints and special needs.
  • Assists in ensuring the attraction’s hourly guest capacity is maintained and traffic is documented.
  • Assists in ensuring that all safety checks are completed at the attraction’s daily opening and closing. Follows all operating and safety procedures required to ensure safety of employees and guests in the tower at all times. Familiar with all life safety systems available and emergency evacuation procedures.
  • Monitors and ensures the guest queue and pre-loading areas are maintained in a clean and attractive manner
  • Performs other duties as assigned



  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Previous experience in a guest or customer contact position is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Ability to communicate one-on-one and in large groups. Foreign language skills are preferred but not required.
  • Must have strong computer skills, including knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Must have all documents required to work in the U.S. CPR certification is preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Required to work in an environment that is very high, endures constant motion, and is often a small or confined space.
  • Frequently walk, stand or stoop. Regularly walk on slippery surfaces.
  • Regularly lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Regularly required to talk or hear and taste and smell.
  • Exposed to moderate noise levels and extreme weather conditions.
