Ticketing Manager

Stratosphere Casino Hotel & Tower



Responsible for the day to day operation and direct supervision of all activities within the Ticketing department. Ensure daily operations and experiences meet guest expectations. Appropriately respond to and manage any escalated departmental concerns and guest and/or employee challenges.


Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Hire, train, develop, measure performance, discipline, and schedule department staff
  • Lead the tactical execution of strategic initiatives under the direction of division leadership
  • Establish standards of service within assigned department(s) and ensure achievement
  • Monitor and control labor within the department while maintaining adequate coverage in the department based on business demands
  • Efficently oversee and maintain the budget
  • Handle and resolve any escalated situations that may arise with guests
  • Create ticket formats for all tower, shows, and events 
  • Create packages, performances and events within the Showare program to include room and show offers, as well as a variety of property amenities in packages
  • Manage and gauge all offers thru the Showare interface, including sales and price code reporting
  • Liaison for the Ticketing department interaction with various other departments which may include Reservations, Entertainment, Marketing, and brokers
  • Update price codes and system information including the creation of new tickets, price codes tables, packages, and ticket forms to ensure all amenity information and ticket options are correct
  • Promote sales and create various packages and streams of revenue utilizing existing amenities and venues
  • Negotiate pricing for all groups and brokers, completing the contractual and new vendor process for new business
  • Provide outstanding customer service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow employees
  • Perform other duties as assigned



  • 3 years of management experience selling tickets and/or managing attractions
  • Previous experience with the Showare program, interface, and creation of tickets, prices, packages, events and performances
  • Able to effectively communicate in small groups, as well as on an individual-basis
  • Advanced computer skills (experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Showare)
  • At least 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Able to effectively communication in English, both written and verbal
  • Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
  • Verify right to work in the United States

  • Frequently squat, kneel, walk, and communicate vis radio
