F&B Revenue Audit Manager

Responsible for the day to day administration, coordination, and implementation of the operational direction of activities of the assigned property(s) Food and Beverage revenue accounting function.


Essential Functions:

  • Maintains staff levels in the department, by interviewing, training, scheduling, evaluating, developing, and corrective counseling, if needed
  • Assists with the strategic development and implementation of an effective strategy of organization for areas of responsibility
  • Coordinates and ensures accurate preparation of detailed daily, weekly, and monthly revenue financial reports
  • Ensures timely completion of assigned month-end journal entries as well as the General Ledger closing process
  • Has a good understanding of and can supervise/conduct the audits as needed
  • Develops procedures and checklists for completion of audits
  • Ensures the proper retention of documentation, in accordance with the Internal Control Standards of the company and in compliance with the mandates of the regulatory agencies
  • Other duties as assigned



  • Three years previous experience performing same or similar job duties in revenue audit
  • Proficient with Microsoft office programs Word and Excel
  • Experience with Food and Beverage – Infogenesis POS System
  • Proficiency in math skills, including the ability to do arithmetic
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to read and comprehend financial related information as well as legal information, such as regulations
  • Has the knowledge and understanding of all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations applicable to the hospitality industry, and a willingness to ensure compliance with the same
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate in small and large group situations, as well as one-to-one
  • Complete understanding of the Accounting Cycle
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completing the first two accounting courses at a college or university is preferred.
  • Minimum 21 years of age


Physical Requirements

  • Sit at a desk or table and work on a computer (more than 75% of the time)
  • Vision, speech, hearing, and literacy (critical)
  • Work for sustained periods of time maintaining concentrated attention to detail
  • Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 30 lbs
