Slot Tech Manager

Managing all technical aspects of the slot department.


Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all repair, maintenance and general operating conditions of all slot machines.
  • Maintains department preventative maintenance program
  • Responsible for all floor changes
  • Responsible for machines moves and paperwork supplied by Director of Slots
  • Knowledge of slot and electronic equipment
  • Knowledge of gaming regulations
  • Working knowledge and skills required for the position
  • Diagnostic and investigation ability
  • Skill in developing and maintaining guest relations
  • Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with management, staff, and co-workers; pleasant personality, team oriented and enjoys working with and assisting people
  • Ability to understand questions and instructions from supervisors and co-workers
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Makes recommendations to the Slot/Gaming Director regarding machine moves, configurations, game adjustments and new game availability in order to consistently maximize the profitability of the slot floor
  • Assist Slot Director in development and implementation of Slot Tech Policies and Procedures
  • Works with Director on regular slot performance analysis to determine efficient machine mix and maximize profitability
  • Ensure Slot Technicians follow gaming minimum internal controls and company policies and procedures
  • Reviews and oversees variance investigations on slot machines in compliance with MICS and company policies and procedures
  • Institutes and enforces rules and regulations for the department with the approval of the Gaming/Slot Director
  • Hires/terminates department Slot Tech personnel
  • Promotes positive guest relations
  • Knowledge of basic and intermediate math skills
  • Wide knowledge of slot machines
  • Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with management, staff, co-workers and general public; pleasant personality, team oriented and enjoys working with and assisting people
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position



  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum five (5) years of increasingly responsible supervisory positions in the Slot Technical area.
  • Ability to functionally communicate occupational-based English, both written and verbal
  • Able to interact with guests in a professional and courteous manner
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
  • Verify right to work in the United States

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift, carry and manipulate supplies weighing upwards of 200 lbs.
  • Frequently bend, reach, squat, and kneel
  • Constantly walking, standing, and use of hearing and vision
  • Working with power tools
