This position is responsible for the day-to-day management of and ultimate responsibility for ensuring Customer Service is Priority #1 by developing and maintaining a team of people who provide inside and outside wash services to guests in a safe, right, fast and friendly environment for GATE Express Wash Operations.

  • Manage the overall operation of express car wash operations
  • Provides customer service that exceeds expectations
  • Provides the best customer experience by training team on all internal and external programs, build customer base through return Customers – Customer Loyalty Program
  • Insures that all guests are treated courteously and that the needs of the customer are addressed efficiently.
  • Identify and expeditiously resolve customer concerns and complaints
  • Promote sales, manage expenses and maximize profitability
  • Assist with preventive maintenance and repair of all equipment
  • Assist in training of all team members
  • Manage overall vehicle flow and production in operation
  • Assist in maintenance of records, expenses and documentation as required
  • Order supplies & equipment parts as needed
  • Assist in accountability of team member performance and setting priorities
  • Assist in recruitment of store team members
  • Adherence & compliance with all established policies, procedures and processes
  • Ensure professional appearance of site by maintaining a clean and inviting facility – both interior and exterior
  • Execute business strategies & objectives
  • Opening and Closing Procedures -- Schedule associates per the staffing model


  • Review all equipment updates and follow the manufacturer’s maintenance schedule
  • Continue to improve knowledge of equipment and wash systems
  • Ensure that all daily paperwork is completed accurately and submitted on time
  • Attend and excel at ALL training programs, internal and external, required by the company
  • Cross-Train at least one employee on one new task every week until every employee can perform each function at the wash
  • Must be able to perform all tasks and functions of a Sales Associate, Team Leader and/or Assistant Manager.

  • Must be able to start work at 7am, and have ability to work varied hours/days to oversee Express Wash operations.
  • Must be able to work a minimum of five and a half days per week.
  • Must possess basic reading and comprehension, writing as well as math skills, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
  • Must be able to operate a personal computer.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must have a successful completion of a drug test and criminal background check.
  • Sales Associates, Team Leaders and Assistant Managers.

            Lifting:            Must be able to lift 50 pounds

           Vision:             Working on computer screen, ability totroubleshoot                                                  equipment and diagnostic problems

Mental Demands:        Problem solve, analyze, and interpret and meet deadlines.

Environment:              Outside work.  Exposure to both hot and cold.
