Job Title:   Tribal Development Coordinator

JOB DESCRIPTION:

SUMMARY:
To provide assistance with coordination and implementation of Tribal Career Development program initiatives, analysis and assessment of preference employee training needs; coordinate and assist in design and/or deliver a variety of specified training programs for preference team members. Maintains confidentiality of all Tribal information provided. 
           
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 

  • Conducts training/development audits to provide formal feedback about Tribal Development initiatives on a regular basis. 
     
  • Co-facilitates the training of Tribal employees with Human Resources trainers while using the approved training modules. 
     
  • Coordinates the scheduling of all Tribal events, development plan meetings and/or trainings. 
     
  • Maintains current and accurate records in the computer database for Tribal employees in assigned areas of responsibility, showing attendance and successful completion of all Job Skills Training and other training modules. 
     
  • Assists in the coordination and implementation of Tribal Individual Development Plans.
     
  •  Implements other Company approved course modules as assigned for Tribal employees.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 
 
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Associates Degree and /or minimum of two years casino experience and completion of Track I certification required. Preferred Hospitality Certification.  
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Attention to detail required, as well as strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.  Must be able to clearly explain and demonstrate concepts and skills to others.  Must be proficient with Microsoft Applications including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Power Point and Microsoft Excel.
            LANGUAGE SKILLS:
            Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. 
            MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
            Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.  Ability
            to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical
            situations. 
            REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.  Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
