Job Title:   Sales Representative, Small-Market

The Sales Representative is responsible for gaining new clients by utilizing a solution sales approach offering criminal and verifications screening, occupational health, biometric, and electronic I9 services to targeted organizations.  The primary focus of this position isnew client acquisition.

Primary job duties:

  • Responsible for attainment of quota on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Generates and qualifies leads
  • Develops and delivers presentations of First Advantage products and services to prospective clients
  • Makes sales calls to targeted prospects
  • Develops sales proposals
  • Negotiates and closes new client sales including pricing and contracting
  • Maintains sales activity records in Siebel CRM
  • Deliver an accurate forecast for multiple products and services on a monthly basis
  • Responds to sales inquiries and concerns by phone and electronically
  • Monitors competitors, market conditions and product development

The ideal candidate will have two or more years of demonstrated success in business to business sales.  Bachelor’s degree required and position will be located in the First Advantage Indianapolis office. 

Other Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Must have the ability to build rapport, uncover needs, build a business case, identify options, prioritize stakeholder needs and close sales.
  • Must be able to effectively handle objections and communicate value over price.
  • Must have strong communications skills over the phone and in writing.
