Leads, plans, organizes, directs, coordinates, controls and coaches all aspects of assigned Background processing functions for the Background Screening unit. Staff are located in Indianapolis, IN and St. Petersburg, FL. This position will also be responsible for coordinating in-sourcing relationships for these services in FADV’s Manila and Bangalore operations. Accountable for managing and driving reduced cycle times, improved quality and reduced cost per transaction. Supervisor is responsible for overall cost center management, execution of quality management standard, drive process improvement initiatives and meeting assigned metrics to drive continuous improvement. In addition, strong focus on staff training and development is required.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop metrics that measure the success of strategic initiatives and form the basis for stretch goals and consistent delivery
Drive consistent quality process with responsible departments and ensure the continuation of our quality culture.
Support the development and deployment of education and training for staff
Develop sound and effective working relationships across the First Advantage Corporation enterprise to enhance education and collaboration on strategic initiatives, business threats and alignment of resources.
Support development and implementation of Best Practices to support continuous improvement process
Direct the work activities, performance and development of all associates, including those in the Manila and Bangalore offices to ensure consistent service delivery.
Participate with management in the development and execution of operational plans and budgets based on corporate strategies and objectives
Maintain effective business relationships with internal and external clients to ensure effective service level satisfaction
Create and maintain effective strategy for performance management
Attract and develop individuals within the organization
Create a culture of effective change to develop and nurture idea generation
College degree preferred
Three years of Supervisory level experience preferred preferably in operations supervising operations management personnel
Relevant experience within FADV operations may be substituted for Supervisor experience
This position supervises up to 20 domestic associates and production from offshore vendor of up to 30 associates in Bangalore India, and Manila Philippines.
Demonstrated leadership ability toward achieving results
Proven track record in effectively leading, coaching and developing staff
Development and maintenance of effective in-sourcing relationships with overseas work groups
Technical and business management acumen
Strong, demonstrated customer focus and ability to work directly with customers
Ability to analyze data, draw inferences, and develop action plans based on empirical data to accomplish desired objectives
Creativity in resolving unique and challenging business problems
Ability to achieve results by taking a proactive long-term view of business goals and objectives
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of internal and external partners
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other business related software
Proven strength in building relationships and the ability to influence
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and teams
