Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for building relationships and maintaining close ties with established patron base, as assigned in CMS system through personal contact on property.
  • Develop new business through cold calling.
  • Effectively uses telemarketing, mail and other marketing techniques to increase visitation patterns among targeted patrons.
  • Arranges accommodations and amenities (i.e. shows, hotel, restaurant, and transportation) for patrons making sure patron satisfaction is a priority.
  • Handle patron requests and complaints as received.
  • Able to handle difficult patrons and situations in a calm, professional and prudent manner.
  • Responsible for maintaining goodwill with all patrons.
  • Ensures patrons are aware of events and supports execution through attendance and follow-up.
  • Collaborates with Casino Marketing Department and all support departments to ensure patron satisfaction.
  • Works with team members to achieve common goals.
  • Maintains high standards of courtesy, professionalism and discretion in all communications to, about, or with patrons including their arrangements and finances.
  • Ensure the confidentially of patron lists.
  • Issues replacement players club cards to patrons.
  • All other duties as assigned
  • Perform the duties and responsibilities associated with the Illinois Gaming Board Statewide Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program as described in Section A of the Rivers Casino – Des Plaines ICS.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of two (2) years in the casino industry.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of telemarketing, customer service, marketing, or sales experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organization and planning skills.
  • Self-directed; results-oriented; desire to learn and take initiative.
  • Knowledge in various computers programs including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Budget and mathematical skills.
  • Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing
  • Frequent walking, standing, kneeling, twisting, bending and lifting
