POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsibilities include but not limited to: Uses ultrasound to visualize internal cardiac structures, obtain measurements of cardiac valves, ventricle and left atrium and visualize blood flow. Assists the physician with complex ultrasound procedures. Collects pertinent data from patient or patient's medical record. Makes duplicate copies of study and arranges delivery of copies of study to outside agencies, as needed, in compliance with hospital policy. Must be able to perform jobs in all patient care and operational areas subject to reasonable accommodations, also be able to employ all mandatory safety devices and procedures. Must participate in the Respiratory Protection Program, which may include the wearing of a respirator. This is a non-union position.
The estimated base pay for this position is $39.60 - $57.42 hourly. Additional individual compensation may be available for this role through years of experience, differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc.
