POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: performs administrative support tasks that are secretarial/clerical in nature for the Director of Cardiac Cath Lab to meet the needs of the facility in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local regulations, guidelines, and standards. Able to perform a broad range4 of complex responsibilities involving confidential, statistical, or financial information such as compiling reports, developing databases, building presentations and furnishing information. Scheduling of surgical cases for the main hospital, short-stay annex endoscopy after-hours. Exercises considerable judgment and discretion in completing assignments. Provides secretarial support to the Director of Surgery, Nurse Managers and other staff as needed. Have excellent telephone skills. Must be able to perform jobs in all patient care and operational areas subject to reasonable accommodations. This is a non-union position. Salary Range: $25.00-$30.31/hourly

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

            Education:

                        High School Diploma or equivalent. Required, Associate Degree preferred

            Experience:

One year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have written verbal communication and mathematic skills; computer literate with advanced knowledge of MS Word, and other programs used within the department.
