POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: arranges for the efficient and orderly pre-admission and/or admission of InPatients and OutPatients. Insures that accurate patient information is collected and that patients are aware of hospital policies and procedures. Must be able to perform jobs in all patient care and operational areas subject to reasonable accommodations. This is a union position. Pay Range: $15.81-$22.48/hourly.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Completion of Office Skill educational program preferred.

Experience:

  • 5 years’ experience in a clerical hospital setting preferred.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Accurately typing at least 35 words per minute preferred.
  • Minimum of one (1) year computer knowledge.
  • Medical terminology preferred.

Licenses/Certificates:

  • None
