Job Title:   Tax Processor Lead

STARS, Speedy Title Appraisal and Review Services, is a CoreLogic joint venture.  We are an industry leader in traditional property valuations.   Our nationwide network of highly qualified appraisers, tax processors and quality assurance professionals deliver accurate results that comply with regulatory, secondary market and customer defined standards.  We pride ourselves on individualized customer service and client oriented practices.  

The Tax Processor Lead provides oversight on a variety of clerical functions, including - new loanset-up, escrow disbursement, and audit within Residential Tax Processing to ensure timely procurement and accurate payment of property taxes.  They are responsible for properly administering government regulations to the process of Tax Servicing to a number of clients according to the STARS Service Level Agreements. Specific responsibilities include:
  • Oversee the workflow in new loan set-up, disbursement, and audit work teams 
  • Monitor productivity and issues reports for trends
  • Provide recommendations to area Supervisors and Managers for process improvements
  • Provide guidance and expertise to processor team on job function, company goals/direction in both individual and group settings
  • Preparation and shipment of tax payments
  • Recording and issuing checks for tax payments
  • Posting minor records
  • Processing of refund / returned tax payments

    • Typically requires a minimum of two to four years of related experience
    • Demonstrated leadership skills
    • Strong written and oral communication skills
    • Organizational skills
    • Exceptional detail orientation
    • Ability to be flexible as guidelines change
    • Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment
    • Ability to learn new computer systems with ease
    • Proficient in MS Office a plus 
    • Some college preferred
