JOB DESCRIPTION:
 
Accountability
  • Create, develop, present and put in place proposals for new and enhanced product and service offers aligned with PAC’s objectives and business strategies
    • Enhance and adequate the PAC’s product and services portfolio
    • Product packaging and cross-selling propositions for PAC’s business units.
    • Follow up on the results obtained from set plans (follow-up, customer feedback, impact and competition).
  • Interact and lead a team work with Analytical Intelligence Unit, Business Intelligence Unit, Competitive & Market Research Unit, and Product & Promotion Unit in order to detect, create and enrich new business opportunities
  • Lead the develop new and improved products and services, along with associated business case
  • Sponsor the optimization of in-life product and services performance
  • Liaise with business managers and senior management to ensure joined up thinking and alignment in products and services development 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal departments and business units to maintain a broad understanding of wider business issues and align needs against product development and operational activities.
  • Develop project models and coordinate all departments’ involvement in the process in order to create a competitive portfolio and adhere to market trends.
  • Evaluate product efficiency, terms, conditions and profitability. Propose enhancements to improve product efficiency.
  • Coordinate with Operational Risk the operational risk assessment of products and services.
  • Work in tandem with the Competitive & Market Research unit in the gathering information about market trends, customer and prospect needs, and behavioral trends to create proposals for Bank’s product development and/or enhancements.
  • Participate in the development of products and services strategic agendas in conjunction with the business units, by defining a sales plan, goals, profitability, risk, channels, processes, target markets, in addition to contributing in the development of the business units’ objectives and their short and long term execution.
  • Assist the Marketing Intelligence Manager in the implementation and monitoring of department’s budget.
  • Responsible for handling special projects as directed by the Marketing Intelligence Manager
  • Responsible for supporting ad-hoc project requirements of the Marketing Intelligence Unit

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
 
Functional Skills & Knowledge Requirements:
 
Must be a team player, have the ability to work under pressure, have a professional image and be able to resolve problems and conflicts. Must be able to prioritize work and effectively manage time and have the ability to manage change. Must possess basic business communications skills such as advanced writing, listening and have basic office and mathematics skills, and customer service skills. Possession of professional skills such as report writing, advanced statistics, effective presentation skills, creative skills, budgeting, ethics management and conducting effective meetings and research assessment are required.
   
Minimum Education and/or Certifications Requirements: Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Marketing or Industrial  Engineering required.  MBA preferred. Project Management Accreditation preferred.
   
Minimum Work Experience Requirements: 5 to 7 years experience in Product Development, Project Management, Consumer Marketing and/or Finance required. Experience in the financial industry, service industry or mass market preferred. 3 to 5 years of experience in analyzing financial products, financial impact and competitive analysis required.
   
Technical and/or Other Essential Knowledge: Previous experience with Lotus Notes, Internet and MS Office Skills, including MS Word Advanced, MS Excel Advanced, MS Powerpoint Advanced, MS Project Level II and MS Visio Level I required.  Experience developing and implementing strategic plans.  Strong track record in leading projects involving multidisciplinary teams.  Experience building financial models and business cases.  Proven management experience in a relevant environment including service management, or development/marketing, in professional services.  Knowledge of products and services work flow and processes to be able to continually propose changes and enhancements.  Strong interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Analytical aptitude and problem solving skills.  Bilingual (English/Spanish) helpful.
   
Working Conditions: Physical Demand:  Air conditioned office environment with 95% of time spent performing office related tasks and 5% involving walking to other areas and departments. Some lifting and kneeling is required, as well as carrying light objects such as employee files and training materials.
