Cage Cashier


The Cage Cashier is responsible for the efficient operation of cash handling and operating procedures for Comanche Nation Casinos. The Cage Cashier is responsible for cashing machine tickets and checks, processing credit card transactions and providing superior guest services. The Cage Cashier’s performance is necessary for the casino to reach its full potential in providing a superior entertainment experience for casino guests.  The following are major duties and are not intended to be all inclusive or restrictive.  Provides directions, assistance, and/or information as many are required to ensure guest satisfaction. Accurately balances all money transactions, paperwork, and assigned bank. Assures compliance with federal currency transaction reporting requirements. Fosters and maintains a positive attitude towards the staff, management, and guests. Attends and satisfactorily completes all training as assigned by the Cage Manager. Performs other duties as assigned.


High School Diploma/GED and at least one to two (1-2) years of cash handling and guest service experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior working experience in casino environment is preferable.  Must be at least 18 years of age.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.  The Cage Cashier regularly engages in conversations; regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and use eye-hand coordination. The Cage Cashier is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, and to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Work is performed throughout all areas of the facility where the noise level varies from quiet to loud depending upon business.  The Cage Cashier must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays and be able to work in a smoke-filled environment. The Cage Cashier may be exposed to the risks associated in attempting to resolve issues with difficult guests and staff members.
