Financial Controller

The Financial Controller is responsible for managing the company's balance sheet and reporting and controls process with a broad responsibility for financial analysis of operations, cost accounting, tax returns, and business planning.  


 Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
  • CPA designation preferred.

Experience Requirement:

  • Five years’ experience in financial management, including accounting, reporting and analysis.

Addtional Requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge of business and accounting systems and methods.
  • Advanced knowledge of applicable law, regulations, rules, procedures, and administration is required.
  • Knowledge of leadership and management skills and techniques.
  • Proven supervisory skills.
  • Proficient in computers, including Microsoft Office, accounting applications, Email and Internet.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated patience and tact.
  • Exceptional detail and follow-up skills.
  • Able to effectively establish priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Multi-task oriented. 
  • Ability to quickly evaluate alternatives and decide on a plan of action.
  • Must apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency.
  • Native American hiring preference applies.
