Food and Beverage - Training Manager

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Chumash Casino Resort is a premier employer in Santa Barbara County located in the beautiful wine country of Santa Ynez, California.  

Under the general direction of the Executive Director of Food and Beverage, The Food and Beverage Training Manager designs, develops, and delivers onboarding and training programs for Team Members at all food and beverage outlets of the Resort.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Three years of experience in planning, design, implementation, and facilitation of training and educational programs.
  • Knowledge of the F&B industry is preferred.
  • Organizational training experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, rules, procedures, and administration is required.
  • Proficient in computers, including Microsoft Office applications and database applications, e-mail and Internet.
  • Knowledge of basic leadership and management skills and techniques.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated patience and tact.
  • Ability to work varied shifts in support of a 24-hour business operation and training needs.
  • Must apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency.
  • Native American hiring preference applies.
