JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a dynamic Guest Service Agent to carry on our 4 Diamond Guest Service Standards.  If you are looking for a new opportunity, come join our Team!  The Chumash Casino Resort is a premier employer in Santa Barbara County located in the beautiful wine country of Santa Ynez, California.

The Guest Service Agent is responsible for all front desk operations, providing Gold Standard Service while permitting acceptable profit levels, promoting all areas of the Chumash Casino Resort
.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED Certificate.

Experience

  • 1-2 years hotel front desk or guest service skills.
  • Experience in a luxury hotel environment preferred.

Additional Requirements

  • Basic proficiency in computers, including Microsoft Office and database applications, e-mail and Internet.
  • Must be flexible to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Previous cash handling experience.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for phone and written correspondence.
  • Self-motivated and self directed to assume additional duties when necessary.
  • Able to follow through and complete tasks efficiently in a specified period of time.
  • Must work well with guests, co-workers, and the general public, having a positive attitude and good work ethics.
  • Must apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency.
  • Native American hiring preference applies.
