Support Desk Technician

The Support Desk Technician is responsible for supporting the organizations computing operations and procedures. As part of a team, performs troubleshooting, maintenance, repair and installation activities on the local area network and computing software and hardware.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED Certificate.
  • Associates Degree in Information Technology or a related field preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in computer repair or related field.

Additional Requirements

  • Advanced proficiency in computers, including Microsoft Office and database applications, e-mail and Internet.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated patience and tact.
  • Must be able to communicate technical information to non-technical end users.
  • Must be able to work within deadlines and under pressure.
  • Exceptional detail and follow-up skills.
  • Must be able to read and write legibly.
  • Must apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency.
  • Native American hiring preference applies.
