Admin Assistant-Environmental Office



The Administrative Assistant will assist the Director with office and financial management of the development and implementation of Tribal Environmental programs. The candidate will be responsible for tracking the financial status of several grant awards, programs and office budgets, assisting with the implementation of certain environmental programs, and financial reporting to federal and state granting agencies.



  • High school graduate


  • 2 years of office/administrative experience

  • Passion for environmental issues and solutions
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to research, analyze and summarize data
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and the internet
  • Ability to quickly learn other software as needed
  • Ability to work independently on a range of environmental projects
  • Must be able to manage several projects at one time and effectively prioritize tasks
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and accomplish tasks effectively and efficiently
  • Ability to work as part of a dynamic and diverse team
