Bingo Cashier

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a dynamic Bingo Cashier to carry on our 4 Diamond Guest Service Standards.  If you are looking for a new opportunity, come join our Team!  The Chumash Casino Resort is a premier employer in Santa Barbara County located in the beautiful wine country of Santa Ynez, California.  

The Bingo Cashier assists guests in selling both paper and electronic Bingo buy-ins and other Bingo supplies. Take cash drops from the Floor and Pull-Tab sellers. Verify and count returned pull-tabs.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED Certificate.

Experience

  • One year in a cashier, teller or similar position.

Additional Requirements

  • Previous experience in hospitality, sales, marketing, promotions, and/or public relations is preferred.
  • Proficient in 10-key and other office equipment.
  • Basic proficiency in computers, including Microsoft Office products and database applications, e-mail and Internet. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated patience, tact, and respect.
  • Exceptional detail and follow-up skills.
  • Must apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency.
  • Native American hiring preference applies.
