SUMMARY:
Responsible for providing support to the Human Resources Department asa technical point-of-contact for all Human Resource Information Systems and assist with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes and report writing.Performs a variety of day-to-day administrative Human Resource Information System (HRIS) functions ensuring data integrity and the processing and reporting of HR data.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS:
  • Interacts effectively with the public and Team Members. Performs excellent customer service at all time.
 
  • Serves as an internal consultant in matters related to system capabilities, proficiency training, and extraction and manipulation of decision-making information.
 
  • Responds to departments’ requests for ad-hoc reporting, including developing custom reports and
queries as needed and assisting HR Team Members with their reporting efforts.
 
  • Provides maintenance and technical support to all HR Departments.
 
  • Provides mentorship and training to HR Team Members.
 
  • Performs data analysis and database design activities in collaboration with HR, functional users and other IT resources.
 
  • Develops and recommend policies and procedures designed to increase end user accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness of systems to Team Members and managers.
 
  • Works closely with Team Members and IT in solving systems-related problems.
 
  • Collaborates with HR Team Members to ensure data integrity, quality and consistency.
 
  • Collaborates with Training Manager to develop training documentation and data base reporting .
 
  • Collaborates with HR Team Members and Security Administrators to coordinate security and access needs for users of relevant applications.
 
  • Maintains and updates Organizational Chart.
 
  • Maintains a consistent, regular attendance record.
 
  •  Performs any reasonable request made by management.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
 
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or closely related field.  Three years of increasing responsibility in human resources; five or more years preferred.
 
SPECIAL QUALIFCATIONS:
 
Requires industry-relevant experience in HRIS, and experienced as a HR generalist with broad computer technology skills.Knowledge of principles and practices of human resources information systems.  Requires effective oral and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills.  Must be able to coach Team Members and management as it relates to HRIS. Knowledge in Kronos, Infinium,Visio and HR logix software preferred. Must have computer skills and the ability to research and analyze various different types of data information.
 
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex of documents, such as technical journals, financial reports and legal documents.  Ability to write reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of guests and Team Members of the organization. Ability to speak Spanish a plus.
 
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. 
 
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.  Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate. When on the casino floor, the Team Member will be exposed to a smoke-filled environment.
