Schedule visits for all inquiry and referral callers; Dispatch visits to liaisons, program reps and admission nurses; Follow-up on all pending patients and non-admits; Communicate prospective patient updates to appropriate referral sources; Facilitate equipment and other admission orders as needed; Enter prospective and admitted patient demographic information and status updates in the patient database; Facilitate processing of admission documents from referral call through transfer to appropriate care team; Help resolve referral and admissions management issues and complaints through direct communication with referral sources and admissions team.
High School diploma/GED required. One year customer service or sales experience, preferably in a call center. Computer skills, answer multi-line telephone, knowledge of facsimile, typing skills; must have good interpersonal relationship skill in dealing with patient’s, families, nurses, physicians staff and co-workers; must have good organizational skills.
