Bartender - LEC


Job Description:

  • Must have the ability to pour up to 240 drinks per hour on a consistent basis; read and follow specialty drink recipes and ensure all cocktails are garnished appropriately
  • Must be able to understand and adhere to all Department/Company Cash Handling Procedures
  • Must be able to understand and adhere to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations concerning service of alcoholic beverages
  • Must be able to use multi-functional registers accurately and with speed
  • Must be able to understand, implement and adhere to the sequence of service (i.e. timeliness in approaching and providing guest with service)
  • Must follow departmental procedures to ensure a sanitary and safe work environment; Responsible for the cleanliness of the bar areas at all time; remove garbage and debris as necessary;  restock glasses from dishwashing and provide ware wash support
  • Responsible for adherence to proper par stock procedures; maintain stock levels (i.e. beer, wine, ice, etc.)
  • Responsible for adherence to all department procedures and policies (i.e. comps, room charges, credit cards, coupons, voids, cash, age identification, etc.)
  • Responsible for providing guest with information on services available in the Hotel/Casino/Restaurants
  • Must present self in a professional manner at all times and able to function in a fast paced team environment
  • Must provide courteous and friendly service to all guests and team members
  • Must be able to understand and conform to all Company/Department Policies and Procedures and Rules and Regulations
  •  Performs related work as requested

Job Requirements:

EXPERIENCE:  Minimum 1 year work experience in a high volume full service bar environment.  Must be 21 yrs of age.
EDUCATION:    High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.           
SKILLS: Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.  Must be able to perform basic math and have good organization and communication skills. Excellent computer skills including Micros
