Asst Casino Operations Mgr


Job Description:

  • Provide courteous and friendly service to all staff and guests.
  • Safeguard company assets located in the Casino department on assigned shift.
  • Enforce rules and regulations and directs assignments of Gaming personnel.
  • Adhere to Title 31 Gaming Regulations as applicable to Casino Department.
  • Attend to any guest disputes arising in the Casino on his/her shift.
  • Issue playing cards and dice, and reviews them for irregularities at the beginning of their shift.
  • Assume duties of the General Manager/Casino Manager in his absence.
  • Plan and direct the staffing, training and development of Gaming personnel.
  • Hire, terminate, discipline and counsel Gaming personnel.
  • Informs Director or Vice President of any operational requirements.
  •  Perform related work as requested.

Job Requirements:

EXPERIENCE:  8-10 yrs. of Casino Gaming with 5 yrs. supervisory experience preferred.
EDUCATION:    Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent.    
SKILLS: Excellent communication skills. Ability to perform basic and intermediate math. Ability to present self in a professional, pleasant, confident and well groomed manner. Full knowledge and understanding of all company and department rules, regulations, policies and procedures. Ability to read, write and communicate verbally in English. Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff. Demonstrated knowledge of casino games and operations. Proficiency in writing schedules for over 150 team members. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.Competent in Microsoft programs including Word and Excel. 

CERTIFICATE/LICENSE: Gaming Registration, Alcohol Awarness Card and Nevada Health Card.
