Job Description:

Responsible for trafficking/managing advertising jobs from concept through creative approval to include but not limited to casino signage, advertising collateral, printed material, and electronic media.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:  Required to obtain a Pennsylvania Gaming License, level “G2”; Required to have the Pennsylvania Gaming License on at all times while at the Meadows Racetrack and Casino; Project and personnel management as related to specially assigned or job related projects; Functions to bring structure, consistency and organization to multi-faced marketing projects through coordination and ad trafficking; Supports the Advertising Manager to develop and execute strategic plans; Acts as a liaison with clients on tactical level to gather assets for projects and jobs and gains approval through the formal trafficking process; Act as main contact to vendor for production related inquiries; Choose/recommend appropriate production materials; Review and approve the final live art proofs prior to production and distribution or deployment; Coordinate with internal and external resources to insure collateral is scheduled for install; Ensure all property collateral is stocked at the designated areas.  Includes, but not limited to brochures, maps, rack cards, gaming guides and PGCB brochures; Uses judgment when new materials need to be produced, installed and mailed; Ensure all collateral throughout property maintains good appearance and correct information and reorder as needed; Act as liaison with print/advertising vendors to create/distribute marketing materials; Order and distribute internal communications, such as poster, fliers and other collateral for distribution to The Meadows Racetrack and Casino staff; Responsible for all ordering, receiving and distributing casino signage, advertising collateral and printed materials to internal staff and external audiences; Coordinates the ad trafficking process from opening job to trafficking through approval; Coordinates with internal and external resources to assign tasks, follow up on deadlines, etc.; Assist with ordering, receiving and distributing casino signage, advertising collateral, printed materials to internal staff and external audiences; Serve as a primary contact with Compliance Department for all marketing materials and signage to ensure regulatory compliance; Responsible for internal communications such as newsletters, instructional sheets and employee related posters/communications; Oversee electronic and voice messaging creative programming; Ensure that all signage, billboards, advertising, and collateral is updated on a regular basis and is current and accurate; Uses judgment when new materials need to be produced, installed and mailed; Prepare internal communications, such as poster, fliers and other collateral for distribution to The Meadows Racetrack and Casino staff; Authorizes Comp, Slot FreePlay,  Table MatchPlay Point and other adjustments to accounts; Assists all Marketing Departments as needed; Any other assigned duties and responsibilities; Ensures all company policies and procedures along with PGCB Regulations and other governing and managing policies are recognized and adhered to by self, coworkers and the company; Reports violations of company policies and procedures as well as PGCB Regulations by self, other and company to appropriate individuals; Recognizes and reports opportunities to secure company assets. 

Job Requirements:

 Essential Knowledge and Skill Requirements:  Must be highly organized and provide timely information; Ability to consistently meet deadlines; Ability to manage relations with internal and external resources (i.e. vendors); Is action oriented; pursues work with energy, drive and a need to finish; Sets priorities and manages multiple tasks and projects; Maintains composure in busy times and effectively uses down time; Works well in a team setting; Supports front of house promotional execution; maintains flexible work hours per business needs; Has the skill set to handle complex matters and work autonomously with little supervision; Maintain outgoing and enthusiastic personality to articulate programs to customers; Demonstrate proficiency in operation of personal computer equipment; Ability to read, analyze and interpret computer screens and player tracking; Ability to effectively present information clearly and describe casino programs and promotions to customers; Proficiency in basic mathematical skills; Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form; Has working knowledge of policy and procedures and PGCB MICS; Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience; Must be 21 years of age. 
Physical requirements:  Specific vision abilities: close vision, distant vision, color, peripheral, depth, perception, and the ability to adjust focus; Must be able to lift 30lbs.; Must be able to climb step ladder; Must be able to work in a typical casino environment. 
Relationships:  Reports to the Advertising Manager; Good Communication and working relationship with all departments.
Measures of performance:  90 Day evaluation and Annual evaluation; Management observation; Ad Hoc and Other documentable items.
Impact on revenues and profit:  This position plays a most important role for the property in determining profit.
