Job Description:
Performs all tasks related to beverage service in a courteous and efficient manner while maintaining a clean work area in accordance with established standards and procedures.
Job Requirements:
TYPICAL PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS: Requires mobility; requires bending, reaching and prolonged standing; requires accessing items at floor level to 6 ft; requires transporting and maneuvering drink trays weighing up to 25 pounds; requires maneuvering through crowded casino areas and walking up and down stairs. Requires money handling; requires use of electrical equipment. Normal vision and hearing range, absence of color blindness, and ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols required. Requires manual dexterity. Regular, predictable attendance required. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed in crowded areas. Work entails chemical usage; ability to tolerate varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination and air quality. EXAMPLE OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (includes, but is not limited to, the following): 1. Take drink orders from guests. 2. Obtain drinks from station. 3. Garnish and ice drinks as necessary. 4. Serve beverages to guests in the lounge areas or on the gaming floors. 5. Maintain a clean station at all times. 6. Follow all check settlement and Casino floor beverage control procedures. 7. Promote good guest relations and always accommodate any reasonable request. 8. Complete tasks dictated by the Supervisor/Manager on duty. 9. Other job-related duties as requested. PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Ability to read, write and communicate verbally in English; Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff; ability to handle cash and accurately make change. Ability to communicate in all aspects of the English language. Ability to understand and comply with all departmental and Company rules, regulations, Policies and procedures. Education: High school education or equivalent required. Experience: Previous casino lounge or restaurant cocktail experience preferred.
