Fast Fd Cashier/Server - Bread & But

Job Description

The Fast Food Cashier/Server is responsible for processing guest orders, handling cash, bagging orders, wrapping sandwiches and preparing beverages in an accurate and efficient manner.  Promote positive co-worker & guest interactions, maintain professionalism at all times while working with other employees, departments, & guests.

  • Works diligently to support the S.H.O.W. Service Basic Standards culture and team philosophy throughout the property.
  • Creates and ensures a fun-filled, entertaining and exciting environment where the flawless delivery and execution of service excellence is paramount. 
  • Adhere to established company and departmental procedures, guidelines and policies at all times.
  • Responsible for register bank and all money, charges and comps collected during your shift.
  • Maintain established company and departmental uniform, appearance, and hygiene standards at all times.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station at all times.
  • Side work duties must be completed as assigned and also completed in an efficient, accurate, and timely manner.
  • Takes customer order, enters orders into Infogenesis, collects and records payments.
  • Periodically pushing and pulling heavy carts and lifting products in proper storage areas.
  • Maintains cleanliness of counter and food service area at all times.
  • Relays all guest complaints/compliments to restaurant supervisor.
  • Makes accurate change to customers for payments.
  • Maintains current knowledge of all pre-check and cashiering procedures.
  • Obtains food, beverages, condiments and supplies from kitchen or stockroom and delivers to outlet as necessary; maintains adequate stock levels in assigned outlet.
  • Wraps and displays food items and places for convenient access.
  • Fills beverage orders and prepares food trays.
  • Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.
  • Knowledge of safety/guest liability procedures for guests and employees.
  • Shift assignments may be irregular, and will cover days, nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Knowledge of basic arithmetic.
  • Knowledge of all methods of checking tendering (cash, comp, coupon, credit cards & gift certificates, etc.)
  • Knowledge of all register and computer functions.
  • Familiar with the menu items, pricing, hours of operation and current specials.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 months experience as a cashier in a related environment.
  • Ability to work in a high pressure environment.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with guests, co-workers and management.
