Front Desk Representative

Job Description

Font Desk Representatives at the Borgata Resort & Casino are often the first and last impressions our guests have of the property.  This role welcome guests to the property, checks them into the property and provides information as they begin their stay.

  • This position does not have authority for discretionary comping decision authorization and cannot change any player rating information in the system 

  • Works diligently to support the S.H.O.W. Service Basic Standards culture and team philosophy throughout the property 

  • Comply with all departmental & Company Policies including Borgata’s business ethics guidelines 

  • Responsible for maintaining accurate property information through daily use of talent portal, email & other forms of communication. 

  • Registers customers & takes complete information upon customer arrival 

  • Maintains cash bank & prepares daily deposit of funds in hotel bank & is responsible for the immediate posting of cash payments & provides LMS generated cash receipts for customer records 

  • Makes necessary baggage arrangements according to hotel procedures 

  • Responsible for customer check out & accepts payment for settlement of all charges in compliance with hotel procedure 

  • Cashes checks for registered customers in compliance with hotel policy 

  • Responds to customer inquiries regarding hotel services, room rates, entertainment schedules & restaurants 

  • Informs hotel customer about the properties services 

  • Follows in-house procedures to help ensure the security of customers & employees 

  • Prepares envelopes with keys & coupons for buses & groups 

  • Greets bus in the Porte Cochere & distributes keys 

  • Handles customer concerns & upholds The Borgata’s commitment to customer service 

  • Performs other duties as assigned 

  • Cannot change any player rating information in the system (LMS & ACSC) 

  • Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to second hand smoke, excessive noise, & stress related to servicing customers in a high pressure & fast paced environment 

  • Must be able to work holidays & weekends, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours 

  • Must be able to stand for an entire shift 

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent is required 

  • Prior cash handling & customer service experience is preferred 

  • Computer related experience desired, including LMS & ACSC
