Casino Cashier Tech

Job Description

Maintains finance equipment for cashiering department such as jet sorter, calculators, self-service ticket redemption and jackpot machines, currency counters, strap counters, time stamp machines. Creates a memorable guest and employee experience by effectively aligning our brand, our product and people/processes to deliver on the promises made to our internal and external customers.   

  • Works diligently to support the S.H.O.W. Service Basic Standards culture and team philosophy throughout the property  

  • Performs repairs as needed on cage equipment focusing on customer service 

  • Performs preventative maintenance, modifications, and relocation of kiosk machines (NRT -  ticket and Jackpot machines)  and peripheral devices 

  • Adhere to all Federal and State regulatory compliance guidelines relating to gaming and licensee requirements 

  • Coordinates with the cashiering operations staff to ensure maximum operating efficiency. Promotes the company’s goals and values 

  • Responsible for ensuring all cashiering kiosk machines are operating within DGE  approved internal controls, company policies and procedures 

  • Assist in drop, replacement and maintenance of the Kiosk on a daily basis 

  • Assist Technician I on maintenance of the Kiosk machines on a daily basis 

  • Ability to work in a smoke filled environment and possibly stand an entire shift     

  • Ability to work under sometimes stressful situations 

  • Ability to work holidays, weekends, all shift and unusual hours 

  • Ensures all Kiosk machines on the casino floor are operating according to company standards 

  • Rebuilds parts/equipment during down times 

  • Circulates through assigned area performing repairs as necessary 

  • Ensures that all storage areas are cleaned and organized 

  • Prioritizes work load to meet business demands 

  • Responsible for the initial set-up and testing of all new equipment 

  • Completes all regulatory/operational documents thoroughly and legibly 

  • Delivers superior customer service when repairing any equipment. 

  • Assists cashiers and bankers with moving tokens, cash, and gaming vouchers 

Job Requirements

  • Previous experience preferred and must be mechanically inclined 

  • Good communication skills are essential to the success of this position 

  • Ability to qualify for appropriate casino employee license
