Manager Warehouse and Inventory Control

Job Description


The Manager Warehouse and Inventory Control is responsible for overseeing the Warehouse and Inventory Control department operations and staff, including ordering, deliveries (both in-house and external), receiving, updating, filing, scanning, counting, F&B COGS reporting, and the general maintenance and integrity of all costs associated with warehouse inventory. This position develops and implements processes and procedures to maximize operational efficiencies and ensures all duties are performed in accordance with departmental policies, procedures, and practices.



Provide effective and timely tracking, processing, coordination, and clearance of import shipments; address escalated customer/supplier complaints/issues, along with troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise; analyze and recommend logistics solutions that provide an optimal inflow of property shipments

Manages Human Resources responsibilities to include: creating a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect and employee satisfaction; quality hiring, training and succession planning processes that encompass the company’s diversity commitment; compliance with company and department policies, and legal requirements.

Assist leadership in the development and monitoring of warehouse and inventory control operations, staffing, budgets, and strategies to produce both short-term and long-term profitability.

Manage a smooth, efficient, cost effective operation to include labor management, supervision of all aspects of services and inventory control and manage P&L statements.

Prepare and distribute various cost reports; perform end-of-month closings, research inventory variances and provide corrections as appropriate; and ensure accuracy of on-hand inventory.

Perform other job-related duties as requested.



Must be flexible if needed for occasional work outside of normal business hours

This position may require strenuous physical activities and exposure to pipe, cigar and/or cigarette smoking. An ability to work a flexible schedule, including extended hours, weekends and holidays may also be required


Job Requirements


Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

At least six (6) years of experience in dock/warehouse/transportation management including experience with managing and/or leading an inventory control or logistics function.

Effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.



Previous experience working in cost accounting.

Previous experience working in a large-scale warehouse/receiving environment.

Bilingual, English as the primary or secondary language.

Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.



Gaming license/registration as required by jurisdiction(s)

Proof of eligibility to work in the United States


Ability to perform basic math calculations.

Ability to organize and maintain filing system.

Ability to prioritize and handle multiple work assignments while meeting deadlines.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy and somewhat stressful environment.

Ability to communicate, both verbally and written, clearly and concisely and interact effectively at all levels and across the organization.
