Job Description

Works diligently to support the S.H.O.W. Service Basic Standards culture and team philosophy throughout the property

Acts as a role model to all team members and always presents oneself as a credit to Borgata and encourages others to do the same

Practice teamwork and support fellow team members to create an energized, positive work atmosphere

Complies with all departmental and Company policies

Maintain a high level of personal integrity and moral conduct free of any questionable association

Practice excellent grooming and uniform standards

Creates and ensures a fresh, positive and exciting environment where sanitation, flawless delivery and execution of product excellence and service are paramount.

Willing to take continuing training and education classes offered at Borgata or outside institutions

Follows all OSHA and safety guidelines set forth by the Borgata

Knows and adheres to health and sanitation guidelines at all times

Demonstrates a courteous, friendly, polite, congenial and efficient attitude

Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility

Wears and utilizes all safety equipment necessary to perform job function

Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times

Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned

Completes all established set-up, stocking and closing duties on time

Clears, cleans and resets tables according to procedures

Cleans area under and around tables and hutches

Knows and adheres to health and sanitation guidelines at all times

Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned 

Job Requirements

Prior experience as a bus person is preferred but is not required.

Ability to work in a high pressure environment.

Ability to effectively communicate with guests, co-workers and management.

Work areas could have high volumes, diverse clientele, noise, music, minimal lighting, bright lighting, and smoky conditions.

Shift assignments may be irregular, and will cover days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Ability to handle all types of guest related situations.

Must be able to lift and carry small and large trays and/or bustubs weighing up to 75 pounds repeatedly.

Must be able to push/pull full buscarts, dish/glass dollies.

Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, lift, reach, pull, push, kneel, squat and grasp

Repeated bending and lifting.

Must be able to walk and stand for 8 hours
