Club Host - Moneyline Bar & Book

Job Description

Creates and ensures a fun-filled, entertaining and exciting environment where the flawless delivery and execution of service excellence is paramount.

Adhere to established company and departmental procedures, guidelines and policies at all times.

Maintain established company and departmental uniform, appearance, and hygiene standards at all times.

Maintain a clean and organized work station at all times.

Side work duties must be completed as assigned and also completed in an efficient, accurate, and timely manner.

Must be knowledgeable of The Borgata and all it has to offer.

Answering phones according to established standards.

Making business related phone calls to established customers, thanking them for business and inviting them to return.

Responsible for securing names, phone numbers, business cards and email addresses for marketing purposes.

Responsible for writing thank you notes to customers on a weekly basis.

Booking of reservations utilizing the company reservation system.

Controlling the flow of the restaurant through awareness of business needs/volumes, station assignments, breaks, etc.

Assist with station assignments, rotation planning, and opening/closing/securing the room at shift change or according to established hours of operation, etc.

Report all situations to a manager or relief personnel in a timely manner.

Ability to multi-task including but not limited to answering the phone, greeting guests, rearranging reservations, etc.

Awareness of all activities in the nightclub.

Knowledge of safety/guest liability procedures for guests and employees.

Station assignments covering large areas with long walking distances.

Radios with headsets and earpieces may be utilized.

Proper radio, telephone and written etiquette is mandatory.

Greet customer immediately upon entry.

Elaborate on all aspects of outlet(s) including theme, bottle service procedures, cash handling procedures, and events.

Offer proper farewell greeting to all departing customers.

Job Requirements

Must have a minimum of six months experience as a host/hostess in a high volume and/or fine dining environment.

Ability to work in a fast paced environment and effectively communicate with guests, co-workers and management.
