Collection, verification, and retention of all documents utilized on the casino floor

SMS audit (Tickets /JP’s & HF’s)

Bill Changer audit (Cash, tickets)

Master Gaming Report audit (MGR)

Casino Cage audits (Main bank, Chip bank, Check bank)

Master Coin Bank audit


Run reports and perform data entry as needed

Issue Exception summary reports

Preparation of bi-weekly federal and weekly state taxes 

Read manual meters for new casino slot equipment (Slot Machines, Bill Changers) as required

Read and maintain overhead meter information on all progressive machines located on the casino floor

Receive, maintain and issue control documents for all casino areas

Follow all procedures in compliance with the Borgata’s Internal Control submissions & NJ regulations

Ongoing learning experience as new games and equipment are introduced onto the casino floor

Perform all activities as it relates to Casino Accounting during Tournaments and Special events

Complete other assignments for the Casino Accounting Supervisor or above as requested

Works diligently to support the “One Borgata Way” culture and team philosophy throughout the property

Maintains confidentiality of all Borgata trade secrets and proprietary information including business processes, customer lists, marketing plans and any other confidential information

Must be able to sit at workstation for extended periods of time

Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time while reading and recording manual meters from slot machines located on the casino floor

Must be able to stand at copier workstation for extended periods of time

Must be able to twist and bend while standing and sitting in order to access files at desk and in file cabinets

Must have the manual dexterity to allow for inputting of data into computer software and be capable of viewing computer monitors for extended periods of time or for turning keys while reading the manual slot machine meters

Must be able lift up to 25lbs

Must have manual dexterity to operate a calculator (ten key) for extended periods of time

Must have the manual dexterity to allow for sorting, creating, compiling and labeling of paper document files for extended periods of time

Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts and/ or unusual hours.

Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to second hand smoke, excessive noise, and stress related to servicing customers in a high pressure and fast paced environment

Any additional duties as assigned by the Casino Accounting Supervisors or above




High school diploma or equivalent

Minimum of three years related experience or finance/accounting related education

Good organizational and communication skills required

Knowledge of DGE regulations helpful

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Proficiency with adding machine

Ability to qualify for casino employee license
