Responsible for issuing pari-mutuel tickets and performing varied cashier functions in a pleasant, efficient, and honest manner.

Responsible for customer satisfaction and enjoyment in particular assigned area.

Amicably resolve customer related problems in a fast paced environment.

Ensures the protection of customer’s rewards and credit lines.

Complies with all departmental and Company Policies including Borgata’s business ethics guidelines.

Complies with all New Jersey regulatory requirements.

Maintains confidentiality of all Borgata trade secrets and proprietary information including business processes, customer lists, marketing plans and any other confidential information. Issues and redeems pari-mutuel tickets to guests either behind the teller counter or by approaching customers using a portable, hand-held wagering terminal .

Handles large amounts of money, accounting for total funds received throughout the day, at the end of each day.

Explains wagering rules and procedures to guests in a pleasant and friendly manner.

Works diligently to support the “One Borgata Way” culture and team philosophy throughout the property.

Acts as a role model to all employees and always presents oneself as a credit to Borgata and encourages others to do the same.

Promotes positive public relations and creates an enjoyable atmosphere for all customers.

Creates and ensures a fun-filled, entertaining and exciting environment where the flawless delivery and execution of service excellence is paramount.

Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to second hand smoke, excessive noise, and stress related to servicing customers in a high pressure and fast paced environment.



High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Must have a valid NJ gaming license or the qualifications to obtain a license.

Prior experience is desired but not required.

The ability to effectively communicate in English.

Must be able to stand for an entire shift and be able to move throughout the Casino/Hotel areas
