Must speak, understand and write EnglishCommunicate (hear, speak, read, and legibly write in English) with and promote positive co-worker and guest interactions, maintain professionalism at all times while working with other employees, departments, and guests.

Shift assignments may be irregular, and will cover days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Ability to handle all types of guest related situations.

Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, lift, reach, pull, push, kneel, squat and grasp.


Prior experience in banquet serving or group food handling preferred.

Personable customer service attitude with organizational ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.

Must present a professional, well-groomed appearance.


POSITION DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include, but are not limited to the following:

Creates and ensures a fun-filled, entertaining and exciting environment where the flawless delivery and execution of service excellence are paramount.

Must adhere to Borgata Policies and Procedures at all times.

Serves all guests according to established standards of quality.

Completes all setup and closing duties in a timely fashion according to Banquet Event Order.

Adheres to food and beverage policies and procedures and state liquor laws.

Relays all guest compliment/complaints to appropriate supervisor.

Observes diners to respond to additional requests and to determine when meal is completed.

Demonstrates a courteous, friendly, congenial, polite, professional and efficient attitude.

Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.

Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.

Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.

Set up and break down of scheduled events with proper handling and storage of china, glass, flatware, linen and any other related product and/or equipment.
