Assists in all areas of Benefits administrative duties to include but not limited to benefit enrollment & inquiries, leave of absence processes and customer service.

Assist team members with benefit enrollment process and benefit inquiries.

Input health and life insurance enrollment forms.

Input, adjust and update team member benefit records in HRIS system.

Routinely audits and reviews benefit eligibility reports for errors or inconsistencies.

Contacts benefit carriers as needed to resolve benefit eligibility.

Notifies payroll department of deduction adjustments.

Investigates benefit and payroll issues and works with internal and external departments to resolve.

Responds to benefit service phone calls to resolve team member benefit questions regarding medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, life insurance, supplemental insurances, 401K, COBRA, disability benefits, health assessment tool.

Assist Benefit Specialists with leaves of absence paperwork, tracking, eligibility notices, doctor’s notes, health plan payments.

Assist with data entry for return to work clearances, attendance tracking, medical/life enrollment, benefit deductions.

Maintain leave of absence reports.

Assist Benefits Manager in coordinating benefit events.

Responsible for supporting the Talent Services window and the functions associated with providing service to our team members or refers questions to appropriate person.

Responsible for the upkeep of the materials including stocking forms, benefit booklets, retirement packets and other materials as needed. 

All other duties as assigned.


One to three years Human Resources related experience in Benefits department preferred. 

Administrative experience required, to include letter writing, scheduling appointments, answering phones/voicemail, follow-up on inquiries. 

Excellent organizational, project management, time management, verbal communication and data inputting skills required.

Experience interacting with vendors/plan carriers.

Experience using PeopleSoft HRIS. 

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.

Bilingual a plus.
