Manages the Facilities General Maintenance Programs for preventive, routine, and emergency service to the building’s electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and architecture.

Supervision of minor new construction and renovations.

Directs shop Leads on project assignments, payroll and staffing.

Responsible for creating and maintaining positive relationships with other department managers to ensure customer satisfaction.

Utilizes work order dispatch system to ensure timely and proper resolution of all work orders and projects.

Works with outside contractors to ensure contracts are adhered to and Borgata receives superior service.

Provides assistance and guidance to all Facilities Team members on all work related issues.

Maintains pager, radio, and phone contact with all shift team members throughout shift assigned.

Works with EVS Shift Managers to ensure an efficient facilities operation.

Ensures the building management system (BMS) operates to its’ maximum efficiency.

Ensures all property and departmental policies and procedures are strictly followed and ensures team members are providing superior customer service.

Works closely with departmental leads to efficiently coordinate all maintenance and renovation requirements.

Works diligently to support the “One Borgata Way” culture and team philosophy throughout the property.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Complies with all departmental and Company policies.

Promotes positive customer relations for all customers by providing prompt, courteous and efficient service.

Responsible for maintaining accurate property information through daily use of talent portal, email and other forms of communication.

Maintains confidentiality of all Borgata proprietary information.

Resolve customer complaints in a manner which promotes positive customer relations.

Assists with talent hiring, scheduling, training and development, evaluating and coaching.

Must have the ability to tour and access all areas of the property on a regular basis to ensure proper maintenance is performed

Exposure to casino related environmental factors, including but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and stress related to servicing customers in a fast paced environment

Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and flexible shifts/hours

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds 


Must have strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, systems and all related maintenance trades.  All related certifications and licenses are encouraged

Must have strong supervisory and communication skills with a minimum of ten (10) years hotel/casino supervision and engineering experience

Strong computer, BMS, and I/P systems experience a must

Must have high customer service standards

Knowledge of construction codes and life safety systems

Blueprint and schematic reading skills required

Previous experience with union labor contracts preferred
