JOB DESCRIPTION:

Creates and ensures a fresh, positive and exciting environment where sanitation, flawless delivery and execution of One Borgata Way where product excellence and services are paramount.

Strictly complies to The Borgata Employee Handbook and Policy and Procedure Manual.

Establishing and maintaining the highest sanitation and guest service standards for a clean and fully functioning Borgata.

Actively works to correct negative actions or incorrectly followed Borgata procedures by making the immediate supervisor or any management team member aware of such action or procedure.

Communicates with supervisors, both verbally and in writing.

Assists in training new employees in adherence with One Borgata Way.

Maintains a positive work environment and fully engages in company training.

Creates and ensures a fun-filled, entertaining and exciting environment where the flawless delivery and execution of service excellence are paramount.

Maintains a clean, safe, sanitary, and fully stocked front bar, service bar, pump room, or other assigned area during any given shift providing fast, fun, friendly, fresh, and focused support to the service staff servicing our guests.

Adhere to established company and departmental procedures, guidelines and policies at all times, including but not limited to guest service, warehouse/requisition procedures, sanitation, safety, and organization.

Communicate (hear, speak, read, and legibly write in English) with and promote positive co-worker and guest interactions, maintain professionalism at all times while working with other employees, departments, and guests.

Maintain established company and departmental uniform, appearance, and hygiene standards at all times.

Maintain stocked, clean, organized work areas (bars, pump rooms, storage areas, etc.) at all times.

All duties must be completed as assigned and also completed in an efficient, accurate, and timely manner.

Perform the following cleaning tasks as scheduled in assigned areas including but not limited to: glass washer, ice machine, walls, stainless steel, floors, drains, all trash/recycling receptacles and related equipment, towel dispenser, etc.

Possesses  basic knowledge of various cleaning equipment, supplies, and chemicals and be able to differentiate between various cleaning products and chemicals for their proper intended use.

Maintains cleanliness of the stock in the pump/soda room: sweep and mop floors, trash removal, margarita container removal, replenish empty bottles and manager notification for ordering.

Trash/recyclable removal, proper transport, disposal, and cleaning of receptacles and other related equipment.

Responsible for ware washing and proper handling and storage of these and related items.

Delivering of supplies, liquor, beer, ice, requisitions, etc. must be completed as assigned and also completed in an efficient, accurate, and timely manner.

Responsible for stocking liquor storeroom and fill liquor requisitions.  
 


JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Prior experience is preferred but not required. 

Ability to work in a fast paced environment and effectively communicate with, take direction from, and assist bartenders and cocktail servers.
