Restaurant Supervisor - Metro

Job Description


Acts as a role model to all team members and always presents oneself as a credit to Borgata and encourages others to do the same.

Practice teamwork and support fellow team members to create an energized, positive work atmosphere.

Complies with all departmental and Company policies.

Maintain a high level of personal integrity and moral conduct free of any questionable association.

Practice excellent grooming and uniform standards.

Creates and ensures a fresh, positive and exciting environment where sanitation, flawless delivery and execution of product excellence and service are paramount. Willing to take continuing training and education classes offered at Borgata or outside institutions

Follows all OSHA and safety guidelines set forth by the Borgata. Knows and adheres to health and sanitation guidelines at all times.

Demonstrates a courteous, friendly, polite, congenial and efficient attitude.

Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.

Wears and utilizes all safety equipment necessary to perform job function.

Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.

Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.

Responsible for compliance with all regulatory requirements within area of responsibility. Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.

Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Borgata’s policies and applicable laws.

Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Job Requirements


High school diploma or GED required.

Minimum two years supervisory experience in restaurant supervision preferred.

Understanding of Fire Codes and Health Codes.
