Ensures that assigned guest room has been vacated and proceeds to clean and service room in specified procedures, including dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathroom, mirrors, emptying trash, making beds, replenishing towels and supplies, and any other tasks needed to ensure our guests experience a pleasing impression when coming to Borgata
Ensures that all equipment is retrieved and safely returned to its proper designated storage area after completion of assignments
Reports any maintenance problems with the equipment, property or guest needs to Supervisor
Stand for an entire shift and be able to move throughout the hotel areas
Work holidays, weekends, and flexible shifts/hours
Using feet and legs and hands and arms. Body agility is emphasized
Maintain stable balance at all times while ascending, descending stooping, crouching, reaching in any direction
Visual acuity is required to perform an activity such as but not limited to: moving furniture, stocking supplies, moving carts, trash containers, and to thoroughly perform assignments accurate, and neatly
Function in narrow aisles, close quarters or passageways
Consistently replace paper products inside dispensers
Operate commercial washer and drier, loading wet and soiled rags, mop heads, unloading wet rags, mop heads after washed and unloading into the drier. Unloaded and sort by items
Replace supplies, fill cadies, and fill spray bottles with chemical using departmental chemical dispenser unit, bag mop heads, rags and or trash bags
Clean up bodily fluids following proper training and departmental procedures
Use of the required equipment and/or tools specific to the job such as; dust pan, broom, spray bottles, rags, dusters, cleaning brushes, all type of vacuums, razor scrappers, green scrubbers, mop head with pole, pumice stick, toilet brush, eyewear, respirator, steam machine, utility cart, mop bucket, trash containers, hand truck, gloves, electric extension cords, bio-hazard personal protection
Responsible for the security of assigned guest room keys
Replenishes supplies where needed, maintaining housekeeping cart and linen and supply closet areas neat and fully stocked
Perform other related duties as assigned
