Statement of Purpose:
managing all aspects of distribution & logistics that confirm and record the receipt of shipments, preparing items for shipping, and loading and unloading trucks. Millard warehouse 3PL (Third Party Logistic provider) including inventory, FIFO product age dates, inbound/outbound product shipments, and CHEP accounting. This position is responsible for
Carries supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
Supervises 3PL workers who confirm and record the receipt of shipments; oversees packing, mass receiving, mass shipping.
Manages inventory control.
Shipping and receiving responsibilities.
Communication to sales and procurement team to ensure shipping accuracy OTD & order accuracy.
All other duties as assigned.
Forklift and pilot-jack experience
Ability to lift 50 pounds and more frequently
Experienced with bids and estimation proposals regarding repair and maintenance
Knowledgeable about or have past experience mass shipping with UPS and Federal Express
Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines; ability to prioritize
Excellent organizational and documentation skills
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Ability to work independently as well as with a team
Strong communication skills
Excellent customer service skills and experience
Excellent computer skills (MS Office, Word, Power Point and Excel)
A combination of equivalent education and experience in related fields
Previous experience with shipping and receiving
Previous management experience
Working knowledge of EDI & WMS systems
