Job Title:   Manager of Diversity & Talent Management

Statement of Purpose      

This position is responsible for managing the overall Diversity initiative – both within the recruitment function and impacting other areas of diversity – for the enterprise, while also serving as the primary HR contact across the Bob Evans Farms corporate support center.                                       


  1. Identifies and develops relationships with outside organizations focused on diversity with the intent of creating a pipeline of current and future candidates with Bob Evans Farms Inc.
  2. Serves as the primary HR generalist for the corporate office by dealing with moderately complex issues while also providing support corporate-wide for the talent management function.
  3. Manages and drives inclusion programs across the employee population – primarily at the corporate office – with the intent of creating an environment of openness and inclusion.
  4. Provides advice and support to other functional areas on diversity enhancement programs (i.e. supplier diversity with Supply Chain, diversity marketing with BER Marketing, etc.).
  5. Serves as the champion for Diversity initiatives across the organization as it relates to recruiting, training and inclusion programs.
  6. Represent Bob Evans Farms Inc. at outside events in the context of diversity awareness.
  7. Aid in establishing a recognizable employer of choicereputation for Bob Evans Farm Inc.
  8. Begins to develop and implement appropriate diversity and inclusion metrics to define success of various programs (recruiting, perception, training and supplier to name a few).
  9. All other duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business Administration or similar field required;
  • 3-5 years of experience in managing complex employee relations issues, talent management, organizational development and recruiting.
  • Experience in defining and establishing a diversity recruiting and inclusion platform.
  • Approximately 20% overnight and 10% day travel may be required.
