Job Title:   Receptionist/Admin Assistant

Receptionist/Admin Assistant 
REPORTS TO:       Plant Manager and Plant Controller
LOCATION:           Kettle Creations a division of  BEF foods, Inc.

FLSA Status:           Non-Exempt

Receives callers at establishment, determines nature of business, and directs callers to destination by performing the following duties. 
Perform diverse and varied duties requiring knowledge of office management systems and procedures. 
Additional clerical duties may be assigned in accordance with the office procedures and may include a combination of customer service,typing/word processing, office machine operation and filing.  
  1. Answer telephones, direct calls and takes messages
  2. Directs visitors callers to destination and records name, time and nature of visit and person called upon 
  3. Monitors main lobby entrance during normal business hours and issues visitors badge when required
  4. Takes sample requests following established procedures 
  5. Ordering of supplies for office and plant. 
  6. Sort and route incoming mail
  7. Prepares labels for UPS and Fed Ex shipments.  Orders shipping supplies. 
  8. Review files, records and other documents to obtain information to respond to requests.
  9. Operate office machines, such as photocopiers, facsimile machines, phone system, etc.
  10. Prepare Excel spreadsheets for various reports as needed and requested by management
  11. Other miscellaneous job duties may be assigned. 

This job has no supervisory responsibilities
Two year Associates degree/or is preferred, and/or two to four years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to walk and may sit; for extended periods of time. Employee is occasionally required to lift /move up to 25 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
