The Customer Service Representative is accountable for providing quality service to BCBSMS members, group leaders, agents/brokers, other insurance companies, other Plans and internal personnel seeking information or assistance on matters relating to all lines of business for membership, enrollment, billing, benefits and claims inquiries and the completion of research to ensure all issues have been resolved appropriately.
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or health related field.
Minimum GPA of 3.0.
Must have proficient computer skills and be able to successfully complete all levels of the call center training program.
Excellent active listening skills in order to clearly understand members’ issues.
Must possess excellent communication skills to ensure a professional company image is projected at all times.
