Asst Bistro Manager

 

JOB DESCRIPTION::

The Assistant Bistro Manager will aid the Bistro Manager in effectively directing and supervising all activities of the Bistro Department and its personnel to achieve sales and customer service goals established for the department.

 

Some Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Observe and support all store rules and company policies.
  • Responsible for assisting the Bistro Manager in the operation and supervision of the Bistro Department and its employees.
  • Serve as a role model and trainer for providing superior customer service.
  • Responsible for coaching, acknowledging accomplishments, and reviewing customer service and sales tracking reports.
  • Responsible for aiding the Bistro Manager in production, ordering, merchandising, achieving goals on sales and profits, controlling inventory and out of stocks, shrink, sanitation, supplies, equipment, safety, supervision, scheduling, and training within the Bistro  Department.
  • Responsible for aiding the Bistro Manager with employee performance and training.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or directed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, heath department and weights and measures requirements.   
     

Performs other duties as needed or assigned by management. Must be at least 18 years old.

JOB REQUIREMENTS::

Must have:

  • All candidates must have excellent customer service skills, reliable transportation, and must pass a drug and/or background screen.
  • Previous restaurant or grocery deli experience.
  • Knowledge of deli operation.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and effectively manage human resources through efficient communication and supervision.
