This position is responsible for guests’ keys/tickets systematically to insure efficient retrieval of guests’ vehicles.
Duties and Responsibilities
Files guests’ keys/tickets systematically to insure efficient retrieval of guests’ vehicles.
Ensures files properly reflect the location of all vehicles parked on the valet lot.
Maintains ongoing inventory board to keep track of available spaces and locations.
Ensures parking tickets have been completed correctly by the Valet Attendant.
Maintain records of total cars parked and delivered by each attendant and overall totals for the day.
Offers information to guests regarding directions, transportation, and Star Awards.
Maintains a complete supply of brochures, valet tickets, office supplies, and current promotions.
Responsible for money handling of a cash drawer of two hundred dollars, and accountability for those funds through audit and financial controls.
Carries out duties of Valet Attendant including parking/retrieval of vehicles as necessary.
Carries out duties of Coat Room Attendant as necessary to cover break periods.
Required Knowledge and Skills
Excellent customer service skills.
Math skills required to provide accurate change.
Professional appearance, mature attitude, and working knowledge of the area.
Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 20 pounds, carry up to 10 pounds, and possess the mobility and dexterity to meet the demands incumbent to this position.
Must be able to stand 100% of shift.
Driving record must meet eligibility requirements of Ameristar’s insurance policy.

Required Education and Work Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous cash handling experience preferred.
