JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Develop, implement, maintain, train, coach and monitor an effective employee relations program.
  • Address Team Member's questions and concerns.
  • Stay current on changes in employment law and personnel administration and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with departments, the General Manager and Corporate Office staff within area of responsibility.
  • Implement and support Ameristar Casinos Human Resources and Corporate operating policies and procedures.
  • Job Tasks must be finished in a timely manner according to department standards.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree with emphasis in Human Resources, Communications, Education OR an equivalent combination of education and experience (12) years
  • Three (3) to five (5) years experience as a human resources generalist, preferably as a manager
  • Ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with team member relations issues
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and challenging environment
  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to interface with Desktop computer and HRIS
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • High degree of organizational skills
