JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position Summary

To provide friendly, courteous and efficient service to guests and through teamwork with other employees, ensure prompt response to all guests needs. Responsible for the proper maintenance and repair of slot machines, may also serve as part of the slot verification process and assist in the handling of the slot fills.
 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Installs tests and maintains electronic components, sub-systems and systems required for efficient and continuous conduct of business operations.
  • Inspects and tests assigned equipment, noting all defective parts and makes recommendation for correction.
  • Makes required adjustments and repairs to electronic and electro-mechanical equipment as assigned to maintain maximum efficiency.
  • Performs preventative maintenance to slot machines either on the floor or in the slot shop.
  • Observes all safety regulations in the performance of assigned duties and reports any safety hazards to assigned supervisor.
  • Performs duties of slot host, as needed to ensure maximum performance of all slot machines on the casino floor.
  •  Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and fluctuating days off.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Required Knowledge and Skills
  • Proficiency in the use of tools of the trade including hand power and machine equipment testing devices and instruments as applicable.
  • Prior slot performance experience strongly preferred.
  • Must also possess a set of hand tools sufficient for completion of assigned duties.
  • Must be able to work within a smoke-filled environment

Required Education and Work Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of technical training
  •  Three years in the installation, maintenance and repair of electronic systems preferred.
