Job Description Summary

This position provides guest services for slot gaming customers in the High Limit Room. Processes slot jackpot payouts and redeems slot tickets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)

• Must adhere to all aspects of the Anti-Money Laundering(AML) Program and its regulations including, 

  but not limited to, Title 31 Cash Transactions, Suspicious Activity Reporting and Customer 

  Identification requirements.

• Assumes sole custody and accountability for Podium and apron cash fund during a shift.

• Responsible for processing transactions accurately.

• Redeems slot tickets for cash for guests in the High Limit Platinum Room.

• Processes slot jackpot payouts for guests in the High Limit Platinum Room.

• Maintains applicable logs for slot ticket paper inventory and multiple cash transactions.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or GED; and at least one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in cash operations. Must have a professional demeanor and be able to communicate well with the public. Ability to acquire knowledge and relay information as to the games played on the Slot machines. Basic qualifications for this position include successfully completing  the mathematics proficiency test, the ability to read, write and speak English and the ability to accurately input data entry and operate a calculator.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand, move and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1 ½ mile, climbing stairs and sitting at a desk/work station for the duration of the shift.  Must be able to work in a smoke filled environment. Typically the individual will be housed in an office environment.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but will escalate when located in the casino environment.  Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
